You didn't break me
But you freed me from
Attachment
I gave you my truth
Signed and let me down easy
I never again felt it beat anymore
Exchanged my heart with the tin man
Ripped the trust from my lungs
One two three four
Each was thought to be
Love
Lust
Extinction of the senses
I think I was 17
Followed by 25
26 and later at 28
Made my bed
For it'll remain just myself
I
And the keys
Tin man can keep my heart
The cowardly lion
Was the last to back away
He didn't rip it out like the rest
Just let it fly over his head
The tin man kissed the healer
Took his axe and shook my hand
And we all disappeared
From the story
It has no end
Just plots

Gave the tin man my heart (so he could feel love)
